These went up at Book Chick City while I was out of town, and I failed to notice until after I’d already posted yesterday. But if anyone’s interested in ten amusing and largely silly facts about me, here they are.
One thing I failed to mention, but could have, is that I am completely incapable of resisting a jigsaw puzzle. My son recently got a jigsaw puzzle of the Rosetta stone. It’s either extremely cool or it’s going to make me go blind from squinting at tiny Greek letters. Probably both.
Dear Rachel,
I have just had the pleasure of reading the first chapter of your book, ‘Seraphina’ on Amazon, and decided to stop by your author page to let you know just how excited I was by it, only to discover that your author page is blank!
Now I must tell you that I used to be a huge fan of the ‘real’ book in hand, until my BL purchased an iPad as a gift. He kindly pointed out, upon handing me the iPad that we had no more room in our wee cottage for anymore books really (the study alone is wall to wall books, the desk now resides under the window), and wouldn’t it be nice if I got into eBooks instead? I must admit, at the time I sincerely doubted it, and promised nothing of the kind, having enormous reservations. Suffice to say, I was completely wrong, and an entirely new world opened up to me. Not just different genres alone, no. I discovered that I was able to review books online, chat with authors, discuss books with like minded, and sometimes, unlike-minded readers too.
Anyway, enough babble. Suffice to say I noted you haven’t completed your Amazon author page, and thought you may like to hook up with a vast array of new readers there. So, here is your link…
…or, go direct to Amazon, type in your name, select the link to your author page, and the rest is up to you.
By the by, I am in no way linked to Amazon, other than being an avid reader.
Kindest regards,
Debi.
PS, I so hope there are more of your eBooks available, as Seraphina (very nice name by the way) is the first of your books I have come across. I love, love, love coming across a new fave author! Woot, woot, woot!
Thanks, Debi! I didn’t know that was a thing! I will try to get to it soon.
As for more of my books, well, uh, I guess I’d better get writing! 🙂
Hmmm. You’re taking a well earnt break now aren’t you? I’m guessing here, but well, if you are – good on you.
One other thing you may or may not be aware of, as I’ve only just thought of it myself, are you on LibraryThing? It’s just that they have an enormous registration base that is international – and, you guessed it, they also have author pages. Here’s their address…
http://www.librarything.com/
There website has a tour available on the home page. With over 1.5 million registered users, it would be well worth the effort of you completing your authors page. I’d do it for you, but I have no data on you soooo
Enjoy! 😄
